Dear Missy for the Month of July

Psalm 144:11 “Save me from the fatal sword! Rescue me from the power of my enemies. Their mouths are full of lies, they swear to tell the truth but they lie.”

Dear Missy, You have God’s peace in knowing that His power is above every lie that the enemy tells us. In God we have the power of truth, and the power of love. Truth overcomes the lies. I love you, Daddy

Psalm 145:11 “They will talk together about the Glory of God’s kingdom, they will celebrate examples of God’s power.”

Dear Missy, when we talk about God’s glory, He smiles. And we have reason to celebrate for we have seen His power, and that power is the same yesterday, today, and forever. I love you, Daddy

Psalm 147:5 “How great is our Lord! His power is absolute. His understanding is beyond comprehension.”

Dear Missy, First off absolute means (free from imperfection or perfect). Our God is perfect and His power causes perfection, it is just enough at all times, and for every situation. So operate in perfection today knowing He is working in us, His good pleasure. I love you, Daddy

Proverbs 29:2 “When the godly are in authority, the people rejoice, but when the wicked are in power they groan.”

Dear Missy, always follow after godly counsel, and when in doubt, look to the Bible for all spiritual wisdom and power. I love you, Daddy

Your Spiritual Residence is Past Here

Let me tell you of a place past here! A place where you are represented by a personal being, created for you, and who stands before God on your behalf.

Created by God and subject to God, but standing on your behalf, what an amazing Grace!

You were known by God before you ever adorned this flesh; we are spiritual in essence and physical in stature.

Where we have been or have come from we also have a memory of.  As we look past here let us also look to our previous existence, where we came from is where we are returning to if we get this faith walk right. Amen!

Let us look into spiritual development; God knew us when we were in our mother’s womb.  He loved us while we were being rebellious towards Him, He receives us back at any time we call on Him out of a pure heart. He keeps us from failing and from falling. He speaks to us through the Holy Spirit, by way of our conscience, and He sent His Son to intercede for us all day every day!

What a wonderful Savior we have, He is real and He is real good.

As we look to God’s Word we find many paths available for God to lead us down, so many available, but distinct ones marked out for us individually. He has a distinct plan for each of us and it starts with eternity.

How do we start with what most consider to be our future? By faith.

By faith, we were, by faith we are, and by faith, we will always be. Be what you may ask?

Be the one He created you to be, be the one that He knew before you adorned this earth suit, be the one that knew Him previously, left Him partially, but are now reunited with Him eternally. Amen!

You see, eternity has a beginning, a middle, and a glorious, boundless, infinity. God is not finite (having limits or bounds).  He is infinite (impossible for measure, no eternal limitation), and so are we.

God created us in His image and He is a Spirit, so we must worship Him in spirit and in truth.

We are created to remember Him in spirit and in truth, and to follow Him in spirit and in truth, and remain with Him in spirit and in truth.

He had a place for us in His heavenly realm and He placed us on this earth, but not of the earth. He sent His Son Jesus to go and prepare a place for us – back home.

By our faith in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, we will return to our first dwelling place to be one with the Father and the Son, and meet our very own angel who guided and protected us and stood before God on our behalf. He assisted the Holy Spirit in keeping us, keeping us for our blessed return home. Now I understand the meaning of “Home Sweet Home”.
