I See the Light on the Horizon

As we look to the horizon of our souls, by faith we see the rising of Jesus Christ!  Not an ordinary rising but a rising to overcome and to conquer. Amen!

The Light that is dawning on our spirits is the Son of God taking His rightful place, the place of glory, and honor, and power.

He is lighting up the sky of our inner man by lavishing us with love and compassion that no man will be able to explain away.

This Light that has broken over the horizon is changing the spiritual atmosphere, all the fear and evil that we see taking place will be cast away and put out.

There is no room in the place of the Light of God for deception, pain, sorrow, or hatred.

The breaking Light will shame hatred and hateful people into hiding. A great hiding from the true Light is coming more powerfully on our land, and we will be witnesses to a new landscape. This new landscape will take on the Light of the dawning of the Glory of God.  This glorious, lighted horizon will become greater and greater, taking more place and filling more space.

The Light on the spiritual horizon is pushing back the darkness and the darkness has no weapon against the Light of God’s Glory!

The defenselessness of the darkness will be seen in caverns being flooded with the penetrating Light of Jesus Christ! Amen!

The penetration of the Light that is dawning removes all doubt, unbelief, and the fears that are being generated by the world and the people among us.

The Light will take the platform against an evil society and bring welcomed warmth of Love that will overtake all our inner fears of loss.

The evil enemy is trying to fill us with fears of loss, fears of hypocritical morality, that is sweeping our land, and fears of not knowing who or what to believe.

BUT we can look away from all that is trying to pull us into the darkness and position ourselves at the brink of the horizon looking intently and longingly for the Light of God.

This Light is breaking over the horizon and will crush all the enemy’s strategies, and provides us with a way to the true Light of God, Jesus Christ.

He will uphold us by the hands of angels, and protect us by fulfilling the Word of God, and usher us into a bright and shining new world, with a new order of things!

A place we haven’t seen as of yet although we’ve had a glimpse from time to time.  A place where good triumphs over evil, this place still exists, but you have to look a little harder at the horizon to make room in your heart, by faith.

Then BAM! All of the sudden we will see the great Light of God Almighty coming over the horizon of our hearts, and then what we see in the spirit will manifest in reality. You see God is real and He’s real good. Amen!

Let’s look longingly at the horizon of Light, believing to see the coming of the goodness of our hearts desires, the fulfillment of all the Prophets, the man and God, Jesus Christ.

I truly see the Light coming on the horizon, it is time to fill your lamps with oil while there is still time.  Being all the while yourself, a light in this dark world, drawing toward and drawing others towards God’s Light. Are you purposefully moving toward it or are you expecting it to move toward you?

Remember we are not the Light, but reflectors of it, so make sure not to let anything in your life, block you from the Light, the Light is necessary for survival.

Like Fire and a Hammer

Having the Word of God in your heart and speaking it truthfully is like having Fire to burn off the lies that cannot endure the test, and like a Hammer to break the most stubborn resistance.

Jeremiah 23:29 is a foundational scripture I found to utilize the very power contained in the Word of God.

Fire is a purifier and clarifier; it burns off all the dross that is clinging to the truth, trying to hold its power back. The truth purified holds in it the power to accomplish what it was sent out to accomplish enlarging our realm of influence and minimizing our realm of resistance!

With a true heart and a purified mind, our faith is unstoppable and ignites the fire that we use to resist the enemy with his own tactics, “fighting fire with fire”. The devil knows nothing about our fire, so his defense is quickly engulfed, and our victory is obtained by using a more intense fire, God’s Word!

The fire we are wielding is coming from a fire kindled inside, a spiritual fire, set ablaze by an anointed Word of God.  Lit and directed towards a bold-faced lie and even blown towards any deception.

The enemy of our soul has no place in a spiritual battle set ablaze by our spiritual awareness, our revelations, and our interpretations directly from our Creator and Father, God!

The Holy Spirit gives us the purification process that allows us to decipher truth from lies, and truthfulness from reason.

The fire that burns in us longs for a kindling and even a cuddling from Jesus, this inferno that comes out of love is quickly overpowering the enemy and he has no equalizing force.

We burn away every weight that would hold us back from our rightful place, a place in eternity! Selah!

We pass the litmus test by being purified by fire, instead of being consumed by it!

All of this “Fire Power” and we haven’t even got to use the hammer yet.

The Lord said His Word was like fire and a hammer, the hammer is used to keep the resistance in check, and to keep the framework nailed in place.

We need to keep hammering away with the Word to keep our faith at the fiery level, and hold onto those promises that in God are “yes and amen”. 2 Corinthians 1:20 says “For all of God’s promises find their “yes” of fulfillment in Jesus. And as Jesus’ “yes” and our “amen” ascend to God, we bring Jesus glory.” Amen!

The hammer part of the Word would break things off of our life that is holding us back from the purification process, from being sanctified, freed from sin.

We need the Word of God to hammer away at the bad deposits that are keeping the Word of God from having its rightful, first place in our lives.

Old worldly and even misguided spiritual conditions sometimes need a little help to fall off, some get stuck to our heart and need extra force, chipped as from a hammer, to be eliminated.

The Word of God is like “Fire and a Hammer” for two reasons; one is to keep the prophetic Word of truth progressing at a pure level and two to keep the resistance, or lies, and deception at bay.

We need to ignite our hearts to the passion found in the Word of God, never letting our fire weaken in strength. By faith and truth we keep our fire “white hot”, always up for the tests that come from any negative resistance.

Keep swinging the hammer at anything that tries to exalt itself above the Word of God, and at all times we need to keep the “Fire and the Hammer” stored up and at home in our hearts, policing all that pulls us into any shadow of darkness.

In all of our daily activities remember to start with a good dose of the Word of God.  Open up your sword, the Bible, because under its cover you will find “Fire and a Hammer”!

“Open often and use wisely.”

Can I Get a Witness?

While walking through our life at times we are drawn to people, places, and things, mostly by sight and feelings.

We respond to things much the same way as our parents or elders taught us to respond, either by rule or example.

I was raised in the 1st Assembly of God church, so I always believed that Jesus died on the cross, He rose from the dead, and that He is coming again. Amen!

It took some forty-plus years until I really realized this Truth for myself. I “got me” a Witness! I received inside of myself a co-unifying unction that made all of the truths I heard in church and read in the Bible become real to me.

The unction gave me fervor to pursue the Witness that allowed me to make right choices regarding spiritual and natural decisions.

As we cultivate and yield to this Witness, “Murphy’s law” no longer has place in our lives or our decisions. We start making the right choices in regards to our finances, places we go, and things we desire.

We have put a different law in place and by abiding in the Word of God we start working with the Co-Witness who is always seeking to guide us in the right direction.

As we continue to look to God’s Word we have the opportunity to get life right, because the Witness unifies the Word of the Christ and co-witnesses with our spirit. Amen!

The greatest part about this Witness is that He doesn’t push you into making decisions; He guides you so that when you follow Him “Murphy’s law” can’t get on you.

The more we look to the Word of God, the more familiar the Witness becomes.  You see He illuminates what God has for us to walk in and become. That is when the law of sin and death becomes null and void in your life because you identified with the Holy Witness, the right Witness, and good outcomes are fulfilled in your destiny.

When we are guided by the Witness we know which path to take, which job to take, which church to attend, or which friends to become united to. Our choices must be driven by a co-witnessing with the Spirit of God to have the proper eternal outcomes.

Choices we make today may only look temporary or easily changed, but sometimes that is not the case and without the Co-Witness, we can make choices that derail us not only in the immediate future but also can have eternal ramifications! Selah!

Too many decisions we make in life are guided by our own persuasion, or by co-persuading with one another, not a good witness. We are commanded to love one another not persuade one another.

Many times we go against or ignore the Co-Witness, who was placed in us by God at our birth and more importantly at our re-birth. Amen!

As created beings, we have a component of God in us even before we are in our mother’s womb. But when we, with a choice and will, look to God and believe in His Son Jesus choose to make Jesus the Lord of our lives; we are infused with the Co-Witness. Amen!

A spiritual infusion that when nurtured becomes the greatest Co-Witness available.  Unfailing, unwavering, unable to error, and “Lord help me Jesus”, can I get a witness?!

When we yield to and understand, the Co-Witness, we realize the right choices to make, whether large or small.  Small being the choice of two different routes to take or helping the guy on the corner or not.  Large being who to marry or where to live.

With the Co-Witness you receive a balance between do and don’t do.  Amen!  A warm fuzzy feeling- do.  A check or an uneasy feeling- don’t do.

A check is an inner disturbance that can cause you to feel uneasy about a decision, people, or a choice to be made. It can actually have a physical effect on you like rubbing against the grain of sandpaper, or an emery board, an inner rubbing the wrong way, if you will.

To always follow the right witness we need to be in the right atmosphere, with the right people, have encouraging friends, and of course, we must wait on the Co-Witness.

This is where we separate the “men from the boys”, “the women from the girls”. The Co-Witness will lead and guide you at the proper time, and that is usually not your time.

Patience is a Biblical word and it is not adverse in any way, because when patience has its perfect work, you are complete, lacking nothing. Amen! James 1:3-4

We can be completely convinced that what we are doing – is the right thing, where we are living – is the right place, who we associate with – are the right people.  Because the Co-Witness is the unifier of our hearts and minds and He gives us a knowing that we are in our rightful place!

So instead of enlisting the opinions from all those around us, and watching how the world reacts, or doing things by rote and rule, let us change our call out to be, “Can I Get a Witness”?

Wisdom’s Partner, Humility

Humility is a partner with and privy to Wisdom, they share the most important qualities of life and wellbeing.

Proverbs 22:4 says, “Humility is the fear (or reverence) of the Lord; its wages are riches and honor and life.” Compared or paired with Wisdom as stated in Proverbs 3:16, “long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor.”

Both humility and wisdom provide us with long life, monetary prosperity, and honor.

Long-life would be a totally satisfying, productive, and fulfilling high quality of life, nothing missing and nothing broken.

Shalom means; nothing missing, nothing broken, it is having an unbreakable promise that everything supplied for us is full and complete in Christ Jesus.

2 Peter 1:3 in the Amplified Bible says, “For Jesus’s divine power has bestowed on us (absolutely) everything necessary for (a dynamic spiritual) life and godliness, through true and personal knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.” Amen!

So long life is a wage earned for humility and is a benefit and/or promise coming out of the attainment of wisdom!

The twin enjoyment of riches that is attached to humility and wisdom would be; “God supplying all your needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus.”

This is a distribution of resources that has a whole host of implications; material needs and desires being met, material blessing being supplied to others, as God directs.  Physical, mental, and emotional support as found in Christ’s abundant generosity to us.

As we take on God’s generosity we fulfill the Law of Christ, which is “bearing one another’s burdens.” Galatians 6:2.  This may seem like I have digressed from riches, but generosity and giving are true forms of humility and wisdom that lead to riches!

Placing others above ourselves is true humility, that isn’t thinking less of you, but is thinking of yourself less than others. Wow, that would place us in a Jesus capacity and give us an inkling of His Divine Power, which is shown in love!

Love is always giving of Himself. Amen! This giving in love would lead us into the third promise of humility and wisdom, “honor”.

Romans 12:10-20 in the NIRV translation says, “Love each other deeply. Honor others more than yourselves. Never let the fire in your heart go out. Keep it alive. Serve the Lord. When you hope, be joyful. When you suffer, be patient. When you pray, be faithful. Share with God’s people who are in need. Welcome others into your homes. Bless those who hurt you. Bless them, and do not call down curses on them. Be joyful with those who are joyful. Be sad with those who are sad. Agree with each other. Don’t be proud. Be willing to be a friend of people who aren’t considered important. Don’t think that you are better than others.”

This passage does an amazing job of capturing true humility and wisdom; it touches every part of God’s character, and shows us how to operate in wisdom, shows us how to be humble -really- not proud or disdainful.

Pride is the root of a humility disease and it removes us from God’s grace without which wisdom will elude us and a gross misrepresentation of ourselves will manifest. It will get us out of our humble and Shalomic atmosphere.

Humility keeps us free from pride and arrogance and keeps our Godly manner of being; having a submissive heart, being receptive and inclusive of others.

Humility also provides riches, honor, and long life, just like its paraclete, Wisdom who has long life in her right hand, and in her left hand are riches and honor.

Humility and Wisdom partner together to guide us out of our own will and into God’s will for our long, prosperous, and honored life.

By humility and wisdom, we receive instruction for proper conduct, care, and morality; we receive a defined meaning for our life and are given insight into our future.

A future of Godly moral conduct would entice those around us to search deeper in their own lives and hopefully find the relationship with God that humility and wisdom provides.

Let us keep our eyes on the right and left hands of Wisdom and humility, and live a long and strong life, in Christ Jesus!

And as I watched, all of them were singing with thunderous voices: “worthy is Christ the Lamb who was slaughtered to receive great power and might, wealth and wisdom, and honor, glory, and praise! Then every living being joined the angelic choir.
